Dental Implants in Pleasant Grove, UT

A permanent, natural-looking way to replace one tooth or several, from a dentist with advanced implant training.

What are dental implants?

A dental implant is a small titanium post that takes the place of a missing tooth's root. Once it has fused with your jawbone, we attach a custom crown that looks and works like a natural tooth. Implants are the closest thing modern dentistry has to growing a new tooth, and with good care they can last for decades.

Dr. Jackson has pursued years of continuing education focused specifically on implants and full-mouth restoration, so much of this work can be planned and placed right here in our Pleasant Grove office.

Why patients choose implants

Unlike a bridge, an implant doesn't rely on grinding down the healthy teeth next to the gap. And unlike a removable partial, it stays put, so you can eat, speak, and smile without thinking about it.

Implants also protect your jaw. When a tooth is lost, the bone underneath slowly shrinks. An implant stimulates that bone the way a natural root would, helping preserve the shape of your face and your remaining teeth.

What to expect

We start with an exam and 3D imaging to confirm you have enough healthy bone and to plan the implant's exact position. If you need a little more bone first, we'll talk through a graft.

Placing the implant is a straightforward procedure done with local anesthetic, and sedation options are available if you'd prefer to relax through it. After a healing period, we seat your final crown and check that your bite feels right.

Replacing one tooth or several

A single implant restores one missing tooth without involving its neighbors. When several teeth in a row are gone, an implant-supported bridge can replace them using just a few implants. And for a full arch, as few as four implants can anchor a fixed or removable denture that stays put.

At your consultation we map out which approach fits your bone, your goals, and your budget, and give you a clear plan and estimate before any treatment begins.

Common questions

Dental Implants questions, answered.

How long do dental implants last?
With good home care and regular checkups, implants routinely last 20 years or more, and the implant post itself often lasts a lifetime. The crown on top may eventually need replacing, like any restoration.
Are implants painful?
Most patients are surprised by how comfortable the process is. The procedure is done with local anesthetic, and any soreness afterward is usually mild and managed with over-the-counter pain relievers.
Am I a candidate for dental implants?
Most healthy adults with enough jawbone are good candidates. The best way to find out is a consultation and 3D scan. If bone is thin, a graft can often make implants possible.
