Emergency Dentist in Pleasant Grove, UT

Tooth pain, a broken tooth, or a knocked-out tooth? Call us first, and we'll do our best to see you the same day.

Same-day emergency dental care

Dental emergencies never happen at a convenient time. Whether you're dealing with severe tooth pain, a cracked or knocked-out tooth, a lost filling, or swelling, the most important step is to call us right away at (801) 796-7779. The sooner we see you, the more options we usually have to save the tooth and relieve the pain.

During office hours we do our best to fit emergencies in the same day.

What counts as a dental emergency

Call us for severe or worsening tooth pain, a tooth that's been knocked out or pushed loose, a broken or badly chipped tooth, a lost crown or filling, or swelling in the mouth or face. Swelling and significant pain in particular shouldn't wait.

If a tooth has been knocked out, handle it by the crown (not the root), keep it moist, and get to us as fast as you can, time matters.

How we help

We'll get you comfortable first, then diagnose the problem with an exam and X-rays and explain your options in plain language. Many emergencies are resolved in a single visit with a filling, crown, root canal, or, when necessary, an extraction.

Common emergencies we treat

We regularly help patients with toothaches and abscesses, chipped or broken teeth, knocked-out teeth, lost or broken fillings and crowns, and painful wisdom teeth. Many of these can be stabilized or fully treated in a single visit.

If you're not sure whether your situation counts as an emergency, call us anyway. We'd rather take a quick look than have you wait in pain.

Common questions

Emergency Dentist questions, answered.

What should I do if my tooth gets knocked out?
Pick it up by the crown, gently rinse it without scrubbing, and if you can, place it back in the socket or keep it in milk. Then call us immediately, getting seen quickly gives the best chance of saving it.
Should I go to the ER or the dentist?
For most tooth problems, a dentist is the right place and is better equipped to treat the tooth. Go to the ER for trauma involving the jaw, uncontrolled bleeding, or difficulty breathing or swallowing.
Can you see me the same day?
During office hours we do our best to fit emergencies in the same day. Call (801) 796-7779 and describe what's going on.
